The AUDIS
is a non-feedback integrated amplifier made as simple as possible.
That is, the AUDIS contains no tonecontrol nor any balance control
and other similar features. This is done to maintain the absolute
best sound quality.
The AUDIS is made with high quality components only. Hereby not
only the best possible sound quality is achieved, but it will also
be preserved for many years to come.
The AUDIS has assembled all electronics on one printed circuit board.
Furthermore the input terminals, the input selector and the volume
control has also been placed on this printed circuit board. This
provides an ultra compact construction and the shortest possible
signal path.
To reduce the influence on sound quality from the volume meter,
a high quality fixed resistor is put in front of the volume meter,
with the volume meter coupling only a part of the signal to ground.
By doing this, the best possible sound quality is achieved. Please
note, as a result of this coupling, the signal is only down minus
80 dB, when turning the volume knob to its minimum.
The AUDIS has a protection circuitry, that protects the amplifier
against overheating. The protection-circuitry has absolutely no
influence on the sound quality. |
